This Wednesday 19th April has been set aside as National Banana Day, the day when Ireland can officially go bananas. And the good news is, it's all for a great cause. We're raising money for fun and engaging multi-sensory equipment for Temple Street Children's Hospital.
For one day only you are invited to order a takeaway from the pop-up 'Fyffes Kitchen' which will be preparing an array of quirky, banana-infused dishes.
Via Just Eat, diners can select from a special three-course menu, the proceeds from which will go directly to Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
Created by food-innovation chef Kevin Powell, the menu includes a choice of starters, main courses and desserts, all of which are centered around bananas. Each dish is flavoured with fantastically tasty sweet or savoury dressings, sauces and accompaniments.
